Equil Note app not working

Hi

I've just purchased an equil pen and it is working well with Equil Sketch on my iPad. I can't, however, get Equil note to work on either my iPad or on my Mac? Help!?

Hi Kathleen,

Thank you for your inquiry. Since you are having problem across all your devices, I recommend that we tackle one device at a time. Let’s start with the Mac OSX first. Please follow the steps below to connect your equil SMARTPEN to your Mac OSX computer:

1) Flip over the magnetic cover on the bottom of your receiver.
2) Restart both your computer and reset the equil SMARTPEN by pressing the Reset button at the bottom right corner of your receiver.
3) Make sure “iOS<→ Others” switch at the bottom of receiver is selected according to Others.
4) Hold down the power button on your receiver for a few seconds until Bluetooth LED starts to blink rapidly.
5) Run the Equil Note App on your Mac OS.
6) Click on the Bluetooth icon which would stop the Bluetooth LED on your receiver from blinking.
7) Once your equil SMARTPEN is connected to your Mac OS, follow the steps below:
i) Press the Bluetooth icon on the menubar in your Equil Note App.
ii) Select equil SMARTPEN as your Bluetooth device in the pop-up screen.
iii) Press “Yes” and your equil SMARTPEN is paired with your device.
8) Your Bluetooth icon on the menubar in your Equil Note App will be checked blue.

Please note that you will want to make sure to go through Bluetooth pairing process each time you switch the devices you are using with equil SMARTPEN. When you switch to the iPad, please follow these steps below:

1) Flip over the magnetic cover on the bottom of your receiver.
2) Restart your iPad and reset the equil SMARTPEN by pressing the Reset button at the bottom right corner of your receiver.
3) Make sure “iOS<→ Others” switch at the bottom of receiver is selected according to iOS.
4) Hold down the power button on your receiver for a few seconds until Bluetooth LED starts to blink rapidly. Make sure to confirm at this step that the Bluetooth LED starts to blink rapidly.
5) Go to Settings>Bluetooth on your iOS device
6) Select equil-xxxxxx on your Bluetooth Devices list.
7) Once your equil SMARTPEN is connected to your iOS device, the Bluetooth LED on your receiver will start blinking slowly.
8) Run your equil Note App.
9) You will see that your equil SMARTPEN is connected to your device, and the Bluetooth LED will stop blinking completely.
10) Calibrate, and you are ready to use your equil SMARTPEN.
