Calibrate in Equilnote Windows 2.0

Sam Dec 21, 2014 04:05AM PST

In the manual for the previous windows release there'sa clear calibrate button. I cannot find that in the EquilNote 2 Windows app.
On my iPad my smartpen 2 works great, on Windows it is a huge struggle - as the receiver misinterprets the page size and angles.

How do I calibrate on Windows (and please update the pdf guide with new screenshots)?

Hello Sam,

I am sorry that the calibration updates in the new version of the Equil Note app created a bit of confusion.

Equil Note has 5 standard settings: Letter, A4, A5, B5 and B6. If your paper is smaller, Equil Note can handle it. But first, you will need to adjust the settings as outlined below.

Using standard paper sizes
1. Click on Equil Smartpen > Paper size to access page controls.
2. Choose the size that matches your paper.

Customize your paper size
1. Click on Equil Smartpen > Paper size to access page controls.
2. Select Custom.
3. A calibration pop up will guide you on helping the Equil Smartpen figure out the boundaries of your custom page. Use your pen to tap the targets on your paper in the right numerical order.

Note that the action called for is tapping on separate points and not sliding the Smartpen tip from points (1) and (2).

Please contact Equil Support at if you would like additional assistance.

Best Regards,

Equil Support
